Should I Install A Custom Rom On My Phone?

I have a four year old One Plus 3T that has never given me a moment's trouble and still works very well, it does everything I want.
It is currenting on Android 9 and had a final software and security update 18 months ago.

Should I install Adroid 10? I've watched the YouTube vids, read the instructions but I'm still nervous but tempted.

The question you should be asking yourself is "do I think that Android 10 is so much better than 9 that I'm willing to risk bricking my phone to get it?"

It is the security updates, rather the lack of them, that concern me, TheChair

In that case, if you can find a custom ROM that's got a good reputation and clear instructions, go for it.
