i dont know if this is the right section but ive recently just started going out with a new man about 3 weeks. He asked me out and we organised a date which went really well, since then we have texted each other every day without fail but havnt been on another date. i have been to his after work (1am) and stayed over and he has been to mine after a seperate night out. last week he told me how much he liked me and that he was so happy i agreed to go out with him but every time i suggest we go out he always says he is busy i.e fotball, training, gym, or working overtime til 8 at night. so tonight i said when are we going to get the chance to see each other and he said soon i hope and that he was really busy doing overtime this month as he needs the money so he will finish late all the time. so i didnt reply and now he has just txt me saying he has been to is friends after work. I dont understand why he doesnt want to see me when he sounds so eager on the phone. can anyone help? thanks

I suppose you had sex on these occations.It`s a sad fact of life but there are men out there who just want there jollies as we used to call it without the effort of taking you out or seeing you . If you let him he will see you when the fancy takes him,but you can go to blazes in the mean time. Find someone else,I`m sorry to be blunt but some men are like this. Your`e worth more.xx

Not sounding good,but I hope i'm wrong. I can appreciate he has pleasures and works commitments,but these activities are not 24/7,somewhere there has to be time to see you if he's really interested, or make time. I'm sure he could miss a night or two's overtime. I don't usually agree with either/or ultimatums,but this seems like an exception. Tell him you want to know where you stand,and if he does wish to see you again,then he MUST make time,or as Olderwoman says,find someone who will appreciate you more

I hate to say this, but he is trying to keep all his options open by being enthusiastic on the phone , but not in reality. actions speak louder than words. If he wants to be with you he will, if he doesnt he wont.
