Even now, almost 40 years later, I can have bad dreams ...... last night was a doozy, really horrible ------ but they are rare. I think it's to do with how great was your love and commitment and how much one regrets missing all the chances to connect.
Welcome your dreams, your grief is working itself out and if you didn't care - you wouldn't have them.

Nailit, I don’t want to sound uncaring but you’ve got to move on with your life, everyone suffers the loss of parents,it’s a fact of life, try not to dwell on it for too long. I know your family have been less than helpful and welcome to the club, my thieving gobsheet of a brother and his solicitor boyfriend took advantage of my dying mother while she was away with the fairies on a cloud of morphine and got her to alter her will massively in his favour to the detriment of his siblings. But am I bitter? You better believe it.
