Well done for qualifying.
I am studying law with a view to becoming a solicitor in a year or so, and am trying to secure training contracts at the mo... it's hard, and competition is fierce.

Have you looked at web sites? www.doctorjob.co.uk and traineesolicitor.co.uk... These are really useful and the second one has a great forum.

You need to make sure your CV is hot and you may also want to get some voluntary work within a law firm to boost your skills.

Look on the sites I mentioned and get some tips for writing a good covering letter. This will help grab the attention of any prospective employers.

Have you tried temping? Many law firms go on to recruit temps on a permanent contract because they have already seen what they are capable of.
