Hi. Does anyone remember a yearly book called Trainers Record. It had every trainer and where they ran their horses and what jockeys rode them. Cannot find it anywhere now, if it is still available. Thank. Steve

The books were produced by Trainers Records Publications of Bridport.

With the coming of the internet, there's no longer a market for such book, as all of the statistics are freely available online (which also means that they can be kept far more up to date than was possible in print publications). e.g. here on the Sky Sports website:

(Click on a trainer's name for full details of the horses he's had entered for races, together with the names of the jockeys riding them).

The Sporting Life has an online profile for trainers showing future entries etc.

You can also find maps of here trainers have their stables, too. Which is one of the services i use when studying stats. If a trainer sends just the one horse from one end of the country to the other, he will be wanting some of that petrol money back.
