Tv Sound/Hearing

I consider myself to have good hearing, but lately not sure if its just me, but I have to have the TV volume really high, to be able to hear what the actors are saying as there seems to be so much mumberling.

I’d recommend buying a sound bar. We recently got a Sonos one and the sound is far better.

Mumbling is widespread on TV in my experience. And unfortunately this failure to project is now creeping into live theatre (or it was until Covid came along).
