I want to complete a form which I have to download form a website. When I initially click on it, it opens with an aspx extension, but I cant type into it. If I find the download on my laptop, it has converted to PDF, again I cant type into it. The website makes it sound so easy, just download the form and email it back to us. Am I missing something?

It may not be a typeable pdf.

Try using the pdfescape website - you can edit pdfs there.
If you are able to scan documents:
1. Print the form.
2 Complete it by hand.
3. Scan the competed form in as a PDF.

I have used Small PDF.com to convert to Word, completed it and PDF'd it back to them by email. Not the most user friendly of processes but I found it easier than cranking up the printer.

I'm pleased I'm not missing an obvious setting that saves downloads in one format or another.
