it was something along the lines of "if your toast went cold you'd accuse it of being anti-british"

I prefer cold toast the butter doesn't sink in, much nicer.
agreed. I like cold chewy toast
So what else did you actually buy then TTT??
Aldi have some great wine in at the moment. I could have quite easily spent £60 on it yesterday.
The Birra Mapelli Italian Lager is surprisingly very good and on £1.29 a bottle.
Carlsberg know what they're doing, Sunk.
And your question is?
Regardless of my little joke to TTT, Aldi whether you shop there or not have done everyone a big favor, Tesco ,Saninsburys Morrisons and Asda are spitting blood, but they are still trying to hang on to their inflated prices in some cases.
When you go into Sainsburys now all you here over their speaker is the things that are price matching Aldi, but look out if you do buy from Sainsburys, because what their not telling you is that although the price may look the same, the weight or amount is not. The other three are still trying to hold on to their high prices, by just bragging about the odd comparison, but soon all will have to match them or loose millions in turnover.
Douglas.
I thought the Angelo Poretti rumour had been disproven. I have been trying to find out who brews Mapelli for several months. Do you have a link to prove it is Carlsberg?
