Every other BBC channel is constant news about the Duke. I guess they've just switched BBC 4 as you are not allowed to continue life as normal.

bbc 4 schedule is back to normal tomorrow so am assuming it;s just a one off for today for prince philip

probably just a one-off, but it's shortly going to become an archive channel with no new content except for some sport. I don't know why they want an archive channel when they've aleady got iPlayer.

All BBC programming has been cancelled...I was so ready to wallow with Great British Menu and Masterchef. I just hope it's publicised when it is shown.
I don't understand the point of cancelling all programmes though...itv has done the same. Endless news becomes repetitive to say the least.

I am a bit surprised at how many ABers are cross about the coverage and suspension of certain programmes, it's only the terrestrial channels (is that what BBC, ITV and Ch4 are called these days?), There are plenty of others to choose from running a normal schedule this evening.

ITV is showing tribute programmes to Prince Philip but its other channels ITV2, 3 and 4 appear to be showing their regular schedule.
