Ho do i change the angle of a word in MS word? Not horzontal or vertical but by degrees?

Try using WordArt. When you put a word in this way, you get a toolbar which has the rotate symbol. If WordArt is too fancy, change the style of the text within it.

Wideboy's suggestion should work but it will probably be difficult to get exactly the result you require.

Your problem is that you're attempting to use a word processing program to do something which it isn't designed to do. You really require a desk top publishing program. If you've got MS Publisher on your PC, then switch to that. Otherwise download PagePlus, for free, from here:

The easiest way to do this is to type your text as normal.

Highlight the text and then press CTRL and X together to cut the text (it will disappear). Using the edit menu select "Paste Special" and then pick Picture (Windows Metafile).

The text will reappear in a text box. Double click the text box and the Format Picture menu window will open. Click the layout tab and select any option except "In line with text".

Click OK to close the menu. You will no see that in the middle of the text box there is a green dot and when you hover your mouse over it your pointer changes to a rotation mark. Click the dot and drag and rotate until your happy.

Gandy, had never come across that method. It works up to a point! When the text is pated in, it seems to always stretch to the end of the line. It's then quite difficult to resize. There is also the possibility that the quality of the text might not be so good because it will be printed as a graphic.

bimbim, if the WordArt method isn't to your liking, Buenchico's suggestion is the best - DTP programs were always the best for more complicated layouts (I still use PageMaker). PagePlus is an excellent program.
