I am not a royalist, but I was sorry to hear of the death of The Duke of Edinburgh and my sympathy goes to the Queen as a mother and grandmother/great-grandmother and as a truly wonderful person!
My problem is with Prince Andrew. If he has nothing to hide from the Epstein allegations, why is he not coming forward, and going to the police and clear his name instead of hiding behind his family name?
More to the point, why are the police either in GB or America not doing something about it,there are questions to be answered?
If this was a person with a simple upbringing,he would've being taken in for questioning by now!
If Prince Andrew is fit enough to make a statement in public on his fathers death,he is fit enough to make a statement to the appropriate authorities!
I know this is a sad time for Prince Andrew, but it has been a sad time for the Epstein victims from day one!

No one is obliged to incriminate themselves. Why should he make a statement?

If he has nothing to hide, why not answer a few questions,it would give him a bit more integrity, rather than hiding away!
He's not exactly been hiding away - he went on TV and spent nearly an hour making statements. What more do you want ?
He has been 'hiding away' until his Father's death.
1 law for them + 1 law for us plebs. Simple as that.
The FBI want to speak with him and he hasn't exactly shown willing.

He needs to answer to the statement he gave, not to the public, but to the police, either here or to the FBI.
If there is nothing to answer to after he is interviewed,he can go on his way, time will tell, and I hope justice is done either way!
The fact that he has come out of hiding to talk so openly to the press this wekk, has made it worse somehow. If he can disappear into the background and not give the necessary statements about the Epstein case, then he can flippin well stay there!

He makes me squirm, creeping out from his hiding place, as if the death of his father somehow makes it all OK.
I too feel great sadness for the Queen and for the whole family for the loss of Prince Philip.
