Asking Should the Queen sit alone for her husband’s funeral this Saturday?
Sorry I don’t have a link...
As a Royalist I have to disagree, there’s thousands who have had to sit alone at a funeral of their loved ones and I’m sure our Queen will be mindful of this when she says her final goodbye to Prince Philip , she’s a very strong lady and she’ll know the nation is with her that day
I’m putting this in CB as it’s neither News or Media to watch , just a question

I don't understand why she should have to sit alone when she's been seen walking with Prince Charles since Philip's death. If she's that close to him already, why can't he sit next to her at the funeral I wonder ?

Possibly because they’ll want to show that even though they’re the RF that they’re same as we are due to lockdown ?
But don't you remember Captain Tom's funeral, his family were all huddled together at that ?

It seems daft to me if she is close to Charles now that he has to distance himself at the funeral.

I've watched a few funerals via webcam during lockdown and while sticking to the numbers permitted, the mourners were seated beside one another on both sides of the church.
She doesn't live with Charles. Captain Tom's family all lived together.

These are the RF who’ll be damned either way BS , not sure what her bubble system will actually allow and going on her inner strength, she’ll be the stoic lady we love
Well known that Andrew is her fav, so she may be sat next to him?
She is actually hosting a formal royal occasion today. An official goodbye to the last Lord Chancellor, who has retired. Our Queen is one special lady.

Wow, isn’t she just Apc , very special
I don't see how it matters that they don't live together, they are seen together walking closely, so it doesn't make sense that he can't sit next to her at the funeral, especially as they have both been vaccinated too ...

Thanks Canary, I’ve never done Yahoo links before
I hope she will sit next to Prince Harry, it will be a statement and put that horrible female dog in her place.

It would certainly ‘make a statement’ that’s for sure APG ;0)
I have a daughter in law very similar to Meghan. When my son comes up to see us on his own he's a different person to when she's with him. Very sad but adults make choices, we can't interfere.
