Have had a thoroughly enjoyable late afternoon and early evening at the rugby club with a number of friends, two of whom I haven’t seen since the world went nuts.

I’m pleasantly ‘refreshed’ and now off to bed.

Glad you've had a good time, rest well x
Pleased you’ve enjoyed it , I won’t venture out to a pub till at least May 15-17 th , 3 weeks after my second jab
I'm not so desperate for a pint that I fancy queueing for ages!

I'm thinking of giving Morrison's outdoor café experience a go on Tuesday. It's not because I'm particularly desperate for their fish and chips; I just want somewhere that I can go on my birthday, even if it's only to a supermarket café ;-)
DD, pleased you had a good time rest easy... I'm looking forward to seeing my family and fellow nob-heads again but no pub yet.
yes, and it was only 1 euro a pint!!
1 euro a pint!!
I'm on my way ;-)
whilst out shopping, went looking for a pub with somewhere outside to sit, but like you Buen wasnt joining a queue. So bought a soft drink from a store, then had a lager at home.
The pubs up here are re-opening, sort of, on 26th. I won't be queueing.
1 euro a pint!!

Hang on, isn't the Euro zone metric.
Yes, early evening in our village pub with 4 friends. So lovely and normality reigns!
We made a spur-of-the-moment trip to the pub yesterday, got a table in the garden and had a very enjoyable drink in the sunshine. As I'm not working tomorrow, I might venture out for a pre-dinner aperitif.
