Name That Gun

In my avatar I am holding a real gun, yes, the photo was taken a very long time ago. My late father had a gun and pistol collection and this gun was one of a pair. I can't remember if they were Magnums or Smith & Wessons. I know the photo is small but anyone hazzard a guess?

Not a Colt Dragoon which is a cap and ball revolver with a ramrod the full length of the barrrel.
Not a Colt .45 saa.

bobbi thanks, its hard to beleive I thought I was fat ( weighed 9 stone)and ugly at that age. If we could only go back and give ourelves a good talking too :-)

I know, my weight stayed at 9stone 3 for years ,went down to to 8-12 after my hysterectomy ,size 10 jeans just hung on me :0/
