Been looking at impressive specs on Infrared Heating.....But I have slight concerns on the long term effects of infrared radiation-:Do you think it’s a safe option?

All warm things emit infra-red radiation. They don't harm you unless the warm thing is so warm that it burns you (e.g. like a red-hot poker held close to your skin). Nothing to worry about, if you feel too hot, just move away.

It's what the sun does. Too much is bad for you.
er - I think its UV that's most harmful. Infra-red is used in therapy.

cpedw &;davebro....Both good answers- Now I’m wondering how many watts do we get from direct sunlight? And, how many watts are used in IR Therapy?
I have an INFRAPHIL heat lamp that I sometimes use for back pain. I think it's rated at about 150 watts.
all infra red does is warm you up.....a hot water bottle does the same
Infra red is just a form of light, but outside the spectrum that your eyes can register.

Light is a form of radiation.

All bright things emit light radiation. They don't harm you unless the bright thing is so bright that it dazzles you (e.g. like a torch held close to your eye). Nothing to worry about, if you feel dazzled, just move away.
