My Husband Spanked Our 12 Year Old Daughter Because She Farted

Hi I'm jaquisha I'm a mother of 2. Our 12 year old daughter and our 3 month old son. And I'm worried about my husband a couple weeks ago he had a suicide attempt at his work. The hospital saved him but he had to be on a lot of pain pills because his nose broke in the process. Anyway a couple weeks later he finally recovers and I noticed his behavior has been off. Hes been getting mad way easier on such little things. Anyway a couple days ago our 12 year old girl Clementine has upset tummy so she wasmt eating or digesting right and one thing she told us it made her super gassy when we would give her meds. So I was aware of the issue before my husband. Anyway she recovered and couple hours ago I just hear from upstairs her rip a big deep one I chuckled at first because I bet she felt better after. But then 5 minutes later I just hear a lot of smacking then I rush downstairs and see my husband beating our daughter over a fart. What should I do? I'm really scared

no one should beat any child, not for any reason.
i guess you could have a word with him and ask what was he thinking of. Has he done this before, if so hes a bully and not to be trusted.

If this is true and not just a weekend wind-up then your husband is an animal who should not be allowed near children.

I would kick him out personally. Your child's safety and welfare should be your first concern.

Beating a child....beating? I think that the police should have been called immediately if he really was beating someone else.

I agree that there's no way your husband should be smacking your daughter like that but it does sound as though he has mental health issues. Would he talk to his doctor with or without gou being present. This needs to be sorted out next time he may lose it and really do some damage.
