There is no situation, so chill out.
There is no reason why you can't bring Absinthe into the UK, or are you referring to the fact that he is underage?

You can buy Absinthe in Tesco so I can't see that it would contravene any smuggling laws.
I believe the one the sell in Tesco and ASDA is not 100% proper.
What do you mean by "not 100% proper"?
Diluted, does not have the same chemical properties as the original absinthe.
The Tesco one is 68% alcohol, the ones you get abroad are 70%. It's still not illegal to bring it in from abroad
Whats is Absinthe??
http://bob.bob.bofh.org/absinthe/index.html - that's for janetsflower.

Lightoftruth - I bought some absinthe in a shop in York earlier this year, and Mr Spudqueen brought some back from the Netherlands. I would be wary of a 16 year old drinking it though!
thank you spudqueen - i am now enlightened. What a sheltered life i lead!!
