I am not tall so didn;t get to see much as i would have liked. I wanted to join the RBL, one of the reasons so i could perhaps go to the Remembrance concert at The Royal Albert Hall.
Anthony Newley, it was the last concert he did but it was in London and not easy for me to sort hotel etc back then. I once took my daughter to a Boyzone concert, I couldn't hear a thing for a couple of days afterwards. I've seen Andre Rieu several times here and in Maastricht. I haven't been to any of the big groups but have seen Cliff many times, Josh Groban, David Essex.
I turned down the chance to see Led Zepp at Earls Court. I did however see Mott the Hoople, supported by an up-and-coming band, Queen. I went to see the Stones in the late 70s, assuming they would retire soon! I missed the Sex Pistols (as the Spots) but did see the Jam, the Clash, X-Ray Spex, Elvis Costello, and many more.
