My Husband gets a married man's pension which is joint for myself and him. I do not get a pension myself. What is worrying him, he has got terminal cancer, is that when he dies I will not get any pension at all as I never paid a stamp. Will I get a Widows pension from his insurance payments ?

Poppy, since your husband's terminal diagnosis have you been put in touch with any of the cancer charities?

They often have advice and links for financial advice.
well that is you told

I mean there are thousands of housewives who kept house and brought up ickle children whilst the hubby worked
who get pensions ....

or were we all latch-key children?
also ask at the Hospital where he is being treated for his cancer
they will also be able to advise.
