Getting An Electric Bike Into Car
31 Answers
Hello, I am thinking of buying an e bike, mostly for local use. I have been told they are very heavy and I know I wouldn't be able to lift it in my car. Does anyone have experience of using an e bike? And any recommendations how to get it into a car.

With a motor in the wheel changing/repairing a flat tyre will be more difficult. The ones with the motor in the pedal crank can suffer failure of the bearing with heavy use due to the uneven forces applied through the pedals.
