Apart from my wife, and any readers on this thread, no-one knows I did not vote today.

So the Tories win Hartlepool, and not by a few votes either. The winning candidate said voters had told her Labour had stopped listening. The Labour MP Mike Hill had stood down following allegations of sexual harassment. Another brick out of the "red wall". Come on Starmer, sort Labour out, the country needs an effective opposition.
