Try dialling the number with the +44 then - hold down the zero key to get the +
What phone are you entering the number on? If a mobile then the number including +44 can be entered 'as is'
It only works with a zero if you are inside the UK
Are you phoning from abroad or in THE CURRENT?

i am in the uk calling from a landline.
Just dial the number starting with 07.
Does replacing +44 with 0 give 11 digits, which valid UK numbers have to have?
to call 0165 123456 as an international number call 00 44 165 123456
+ means 00
or the other way round if you see +44 165 123456 that means 0165 123456 if you are already in the UK
