Facebook Lock Out

Been locked out of the above - (which some might say is a blessing !) as ‘someone may have accessed my account without authorisation!’ it says I need to reset my password but when I try I get : Something went wrong, your password couldn’t be changed at this time. Please try again later.

It’s been like this for several hours. Help!!

Clear your browsing history and try again. If that does'nt work try accessing your FB account using a different browser . Not technical but something I would try before getting into more complications.

How have you received the message about someone accessing your account? If by email then I would suspect a scam.
