Great News At Last!

OH has got his date for a Cochlea implant. He has a pre op appointment o June 1st. Then if all ok it will happen on June 10th.
It really is marvellous. The book and pay for a hotel for us both the night before the op. Then if is well enough they will book and pay for another double room. If they consider he needs a night in hospital I will have to book and pay for my room.
We both have to isolate three days before the op. But that's no problem. Daughter will sort out anything we need.
We are so relieved. He made the right decision not to carry on with he private hearing aids.

Can I ask what sort of criteria he had to meet to be eligible for this? My husb lost most of his hearing only 4 years ago and things can be challenging!
