9/11
10 Answers
Did anybody watch the 9/11 programme on BBC1 lastnight? I missed bad girls because I got so into it. Even though I obviously knew what happened. And even stayed up to watch part 2 after the news. But I just want to know if anyone else found Victor a waste of space. That bloke stayed to help him, and its not even as if he was injured, he just coudn't be @rsed. It angered me how a man lost his life and was the only one from his company to not make it out because he was trying to help this man. The blokes wife said Victor was this mans angel to take him away. He wouldn't be dead if it wasn't for Victor! I know there were many heroes on this day but if I were him I'd have used my energy on getting someone out that deserved it.

Zacsmaster, yes he did seem depressed but this other poor guy was trying all he could to help him, youd think if you were in that building then you wouldnt even have time to feel sorry for yourself. I felt sorry for Victor but that other bloke gave him enough chances and he was being selfish keeping this man with him. I guess it just annoyed me that there were more worthy people in there to be saved.
We can all suffer from depression and I for one am not in a job I love, but the fact that the 'fight or flight' theory didnt kick in for him (flight in this case) makes me wonder if either he wanted to die or was suffering from some sort of shock. Still' doesn't really matter what I think as that is no consolation to the other mans family.
I have to admit it, if I had been the other person I would not have been so understanding, after slapping him around the face a few times and kicking him up the @rse, I think I would have left then spent the rest of my life feeling guilty for it, kinda no win situation.
What would you guys have done?

Id have tried to start with but after so much I would have said fine if you want to die then fair enough but youre not taking me with you. And then balls in his court to do something, as I said its not like he was injured and couldnt get out for himself. I wouldnt feel guilty as he had a choice.
I felt so bad when I watched it. Granted, I only watched the second half, but I had tears rolling down my cheeks thinking about what those poor people must have gone through.
I agree that the bloke who wouldn't move grated on my nerves, but at least it shows that there are people in the world that will help others, and not just look out for themselves.

both me and my partner watched this programme last night, and we feel that victor had more than enough chances and that other guy should have just left him to it in the end and got himself.
the other guy should have followed the Japanese guy and he would have been safe as well then.
as regards the Japanese guy, he called himself a coward for leaving the other two.. even though he lived...
the coward lived and the hero died!!!!! ironic!!
and Victor, well he was just a lost cause!
