Forceps Marks?

My grandson had a strong red mark on his face from forceps, when he was born- which they said would disappear in a couple of days. The redness did- but he is now a month old and the line is still visible.
Purely out of interest, does anyone think it will still eventually go? Or is it an actual scar?
Thank you x

I believe it will fade in time . ( he’s still very young )
I am pretty sure that it will fade with time, but there maybe a faint mark....or nothing at all.
It should fade. Parents could try using bio oil on it. Rub gently once a day

Thank you xx will suggest the bio oil. He is very young, so I'm a bit surprised it hasn't already gone.
My grand daughter was exactly the same with a vivid red scar due to forceps. It does go away in its own time and she has a beautiful complexion.

Thank you, naw x
My eldest had the same thing. It fades on its own as the face plumps out. Bio oil will do no harm but I did'nt put anything on my daughters mark and it had gone by the time she was about 9 months old.
