Congratulations again, emmie.
Although there are eight 6-letter spaces, six of them can be ignored for one reason or another. Of the two possibilities, one of them ends in a letter that is doubled elsewhere, and therefore highly unlikely to be an A. The other possibility starts with a letter that is a strong contender to be E.
On that basis, the puzzle works out correctly although one of the answers is more than a bit silly.

satprof, hope you don't mind me asking this. You post this Alphapuzzle question everyday. Is that because you are unable to solve it everyday or do you see it as a 'favour' to others that do the quiz?
If the latter, could I suggest you leave it for the others to ask, if and when they get stuck.
Doesn't seem any fun in doing a quiz if you know you can get a head start, without any effort, by looking on here.
Just a suggestion. :))

Captain - as anything on this site, if they don't want the answer, then they needn't look. It is a service to other people, and if people want to look before doing it themselves, it is their choice. Some will look straight away, others will try it themselves first. Nobody is adversely affected and some will get a benefit. (especially Emmie!!!!)
