How can I get my Internet Explorer back?...I know MS are gonna scrap it next year, but I need it back now, as I've pressed something to do with MS Edge and it's messed up everything and I can't navigate without Explorer or find anything I had!...I'm sorry this is jumbled, but I'm not as techno-savvy as most of you guys out there in AB land, so in plain english if possible!...I use a screen reader too, which doesn't help! If it is still in there Woody you will find it by clicking on the WINDOWS ICON bottom left in the task bar. Then you need to click on the 3 HORIZONTAL stripes that say "START" when the cursor is hovered over it. Now scroll down that menu that is in alphabetical order for "Internet Explorer". The old icon of a World should be there as well. Now RIGHT click on it and either pin it to Start, or Look in the new options for MORE and pin it in TASKBAR. Take your time with it Woody.
Even though you've got Edge on your computer, Internet Explorer will still be there. If you're using Windows 10, it's accessible from the Start button and then the Programs list. It's not immediately obvious though; you have to click on 'Windows Accessories' to find where it's hidden.
Many Thanks for all your help guys and with a few twiddly bits and using correct keys instead of those which are similar but not the absolute right ones, I've got back to safe ground, making giant mental notes to watch what the heck I'm doing on the keyboard with regard to keystrokes!
