Bronze Bell.

My son is 40 in June. I’d like to give him an old bronze bell which can be attached to a wall. He doesn’t like ‘new things’! I want one roughly about 6” for the bell. I’ve been looking for about 6 months. Any ideas of anywhere else I could look I’d really appreciate it. Many thanks, Bramley.

Two questions:
1. Does it have to be bronze? (Would brass be acceptable? There seem to be far more old brass bells for sale than bronze ones).

2. What's your budget? (If you're prepared to accept brass, there seem to be quite a few possibilities on eBay but they're not cheap! e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114785476482 )

There is a brass one here that has "Titanic 1912" on it but the "1912" looks squint in some images.

The rectangle the "1912" is in looks odd since the horizontal lines don't curve in some of the images.

Regrettably though, the description clear states "Modern Reproduction", which doesn't seem to be what BB is looking for :(

Sorry Buen, it’s a bit like the camel joke. I have contacted the seller twice agreed the bell is very flared and not a ‘pretty’ bell! Many thanks for trying, Bramley.
