my grandad
im looking for info about my grandfathers exploits in WW2. theres no one left in my family of that generation and the M.O.D. are still pretty tight lipped. does anyone know any other places i could try looking.

If you know his service number, you could send off for his service records (my grandad's service number was on his marriage certificate).
You need to provide a copy of the death certificate, his next of kin (if his wife has passed away, one of his children) will need to sign the form and they will cost you �30.
It took 4 weeks for my grandads to arrive and they were well worth the wait.
