Answer me this
See if you can get this:
A man goes into a hotel and books a room which happens to be on the tenth floor. He gets in the lift and travels to the 5th floor where he gets out of the lift and walks to the tenth floor via the stairs.
After half an hour the man needs to go into town. He goes to the lift on the tenth floor, goes to the ground floor, gets out and walks into town.
After an hour he returns to the hotel. He gets in the lift and again travels to the 5th floor where he gets out and walks the remaining flights via the stairs to the tenth floor.
After a week of doing this he leaves the hotel, He gets in the lift at the tenth floor. Travels to the ground floor and leaves the hotel.
Why did this man always travel to the 5th floor when going to his room, and then walk the stairs to the tenth floor. But when leaving his room, he travelled all the way by lift?
There is only one official answer, so no utterly silly answers please...like "he was bored and felt like it" That would be an incorrect answer I am afraid.
