That's right never be harsh when correcting ANY dog when they pee in your home a UH UH sound and take them out to where you want them to go and a good dog and treats always facilitate the best response for repeated behavior.
Sorry I misunderstood your reply it sounded like you went ahead and let them pee in the house because they were new and needed them to "MARK" their territory, any marking should be done outside, MY BAD... ;)
