Birds.

Like many of others during lockdown I have been enjoying watching the comings and goings of my garden birds. Not for them the stifling ' social distancing.' No, more the comings and goings - especially the comings !
I have a bird box which attracts my favourite garden visitor, the humble house/hedge sparrow, a more sociable creature you will never find, playful, caring and one worthy of support.

I've noticed that the box has been used by pairs two or three times this year and today another two have been in and out, in both sense of the words.

My question is, do more than one pair use the box each year or is it a bit like an air b&b ?
I love them, and envy their stamina !

I think they nest in family groups Derek, they're gregarious and love a good punch up! Perhaps you've witnessed that?
