Brian cox has a program on on Sunday nights at where (as far as I can tell) he relives all the most expensive parts of his previous programs. (Going in a sub, going in the vomit comet, going to the desert , having a helicopter camera pan round him and so on)

Excellent - and one reason for that is that he's a modest man who understands the art of communication and, hence, doesn't try to impress his audience with his knowledge but speaks in terms that are easily understood by all. His style reminds me of that of the late Sir Patrick Moore who was self-taught and whose genuine enthusiasm for his subject and his wish to share that was equally evident.

Not sure about the 'easily understood by all'. I went to see him at the gheatre with my husband, Brian lost me after "Good evening" but the photos were lovely. I wouldnt consider myself that stupid.
