But that's OK if you use the recommended technique of cupping the boule in your palm rather than trying to grasp it with your fingers. And of course, always keep your thumb away from the side of the boule - let the palm do the work, and never squeeze, or you'll fail to achieve your target. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but it's worth it in the end, especially if you manage a good straight armed follow through and final flick of the wrist. I'd love to give you lessons, but it's not practical at the moment.
