Hi, does anyone know of a car cosmetic or touch up person in Sheffield area to cover about 3 scratches. Don't want to pay to have the whole panels resprayed for minor damage.
Thx

I am not a mechanic Eeza - but if the scratches are thin enough - get T-Cut from your local garage (they will tell you what colour) - put a little onto scratch and rub it with your finger and it alleges melts in.
ChipsAway advertise that they paint the chips not the car - dunno about scratches. I think they would suggest painting the whole panel(s).
yes they advised me to paint the whole panel for £300 and that was some years back. other option eeza - you can always by-pass as over the years your car will get many more scratches.

Thx for the answers. Point is painting a whole panel just to cover up a small scratch seems too much. Tried T Cut but it only works for surface scratches.
the other option - my cousin scraped her silver car last week and it is a volkswagen - so she was able to get a small phial of paint from Volkswagen ie the match. Whatever make your car is go back to their garage.
jennyjoan is right. Go to your car dealer and get a phial of touch-up paint. I have used them, and they have been a good match.
I have used them too with a variety of cars over the years - they are a good match.
I hear that Chips Away are good. They are a franchise, so it will be a local self employed guy in a Chips Away branded van.
Get masking tape & mask off either side of the scratch so you can only see the scratch. Then apply touch-up brush or spray in the right colour (there will be a colour code somewhere on the car) according to instructions with the paint. Then (maybe) polish it with colour polish.
^^^ only if you want to have a go yourself!!!!!!!
