Covid Vaccines Benefits.

Hi, I'm just wondering does anyone have any links to show what benefits there are to taking the covid vaccines and what protections these vaccines do and don't offer.

From what I've been told the vaccine only protects the person who receives it but doesn't actually stop that person catching covid and doesn't stop that person passing covid to others, it just lowers any symptoms. But I've not read anything official, this is just from people who have taken it.

Theres lots of data, some released today. Hopefully someones able to provide a link. Something like 75% reduction in risk of hospitalization if you catch it after one jab, 90% after 2.

Work is still going on to find out how well vaccination reduces the possibility of someone who is fully-vaccinated and asymptomatic from passing on Covid-19. However two UK studies have suggested that the reduced viral load does reduce such transmission.

However fully vaccinated, asymptomatic people can still pass on Covid-19, albeit possibly with a lower risk factor involved:
