Does anyone know the reasoning why the Apocrapha was omitted from the Bible in 1885? It was printed till that date.

The writings known as the Apocrypha are not included because these texts came to us in Greek (like the New Testament) and later Latin but not in Scriptural Hebrew. They were therefore ranked in terms of authority as deuterocanonical, or second level. Fundamentalists later rejected them altogether.

Because the Bible is not Gods work. Christians would have us believe that the Bible is God speaking to us. But the Bible we read today has been corrupted by man. If there was any truth there, it has been lost in the many interpretations men have made. Blessed be.
