Grimm as in Fairy Tales
Karamatzov - probably fictional?
Thomas and Heinrich Mann....German authors
The McGann brothers.......actors, Joe, Paul....the other one escapes me.....
George and Weedon Grossmith.
They wrote "Diary of a Nobody."
Joe Mark Paul and Stephen Alibobs
There are two other McGann brothers - Mark and Stephen - but they are all actors.
How about the Durrell brothers - Gerald (naturalist) and Lawrence (author) - who feature in Gerald's book "My Family and Other Animals"
Do Frank and Jesse James count - there have been films about them but I don't know if there are books or plays?
How about Shakespeare's Richard III

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_III_(play )

The characters include Edward IV and his brothers the Duke of York and the Duke of Gloucester + his two sons Edward and Richard - so lots of real brothers!
David Jason and Arthur White (who plays Ernie in Frost) are brothers :o)
Robert and Phil Glenister
Have I misinterpreted the question? Is it that the literature/drama is about brothers, or written by brothers, or can the brothers be actors? And can the drama include films?

If actors/films allowed, then Beau and Jeff Bridges played brothers in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

question says "(real, not fictional)" so I took it at face value! :o)
Peter and Anthony Shaffer (and they were are twins!)
Is this Sept quizmail - already??!!
