Over time your usual browser gets clogged with all sorts of stuff you've added to it on purpose such as ad-blockers, password manager, and other useful extensions; also stuff you haven't added such as cookies (on the whole nothing to worry about). The browser memory can also get clogged (the cache).
It only takes one little thing to stop a website working properly. To find out if it is the website or your browser, using a different browser is a quick and easy way to find out.
Otherwise it is a case of disabling extensions, clearing the cache and cookies to try to find the problem.
