morning everyone, its another very early start, but i have slept for some time and so now wide awake. I hope you are all well and that you have a bright and cheerful day. Weather forecast is for partly sunny skies, and i guess that could mean anything.

i don't like chilli with anything, and most definitely not ice cream.

i would like to get some ice cream from waitrose for later but have no room in the freezer currently. they do nice varieties, especially the choc ones.

We had a terrific downpour here last night and rapturous thunder to go with.

I'd like to see some sun today.

we had cloud for much of yesterday, a little bit of sun here and there, no rain last night, nor a storm.

i too would like to see some sun, it seems to have disappeared for a while, my sun tan is fading fast.

Being the foodie you are LCG, you will love Jelberts - there used to be a cheese shop next door but not sure if that this has survived the Covid Blitz. There also used to be a great chandlery on the dock side, useful for Guernsey sweaters/boots etc etc inc for little ones.....and there's two or three small galleries as you swing over the bridge into the port/dock area.

i am toying with the idea of an early shower to liven myself up a bit, but its getting motivated to do so, - which i am not currently.

I can't help but correct Buen Chico from earlier - the iconic rowing boat ferry from Southwold to Walberswick is often rowed by one woman - the amazing Dani Church whose family has operated that ferry since goodness knows when. A beautiful part of the country for sure.
