Racing Pigeons Missing

There was a post about a possible homing pigeon in a garden and what to do. There was a race in Peterborough on Saturday and hundreds of birds have not returned possibly due to a solar/magnetic event. People are asked to feed and water any bird they find and hopefully they will return home.

That was me but it's still around my garden nearly 2 weeks later. I'm Dorset so don't think it's one of them but have reached out for advice via Nextdoor locally. It will eat out of our hands and yesterday walked up the deck and stood on the open back door step which is worrying as I have 2 cats. It has 3 rings but not been able to actually catch it to get the numbers yet but I'm working on it. I was hoping it would have rested enough by now but it hasn't flown on.

Unlikely to find there way here but will keep my eyes open anyway. I feed and water quite a few pigeons already!
