with removing mattress and getting out into the yard and throwing loads of buckets hot soapy water and now rinsing and outside dripping.

I have lost 2lbs 4ozs. Weighed myself last night late and this morning. So it proves you need to move more.

oh - well we'll leave it out for a while - few days as weather is supposed to be good in the next 5 days.
Question Author
Pixie fabulous looking bed and for that price but even if I was interested - won't deliver to Norn Ireland again.
Ah, sorry. Trying to find one that does, but they don't all say. The other option might be to get a memory foam topper and put it on top.
Question Author
Pixie - just perusing through the mattresses etc. You did get a fantastic bargain with getting the whole set.
I love my pocket sprung mattress, don't get on with foam mattresses at all.
Question Author
each to their own Barry - I would never get another pocket sprung again.

My mother had a wonderful Dunlopillo mattress in the olden days and it was wonderful.
I remember the old Dunlopillo mattress - the one I slept on for a week had me sweating buckets every night.
Question Author
lucky you for sweating Barry - there were 3 of us on a double so I guess we kept each other warm LOL
I've only ever slept on Dunlopillo mattresses (a top Which? manufacturer, btw) and never find them hot.

One poster voiced his concern re the waterproof topper (maybe another post) - but anyway bought one in Dunelm and it does say waterproof, also I remember them being noisy as round the sides of the bed they were like "papery" which made the noise but these ones have like a padded topper and round the sides is very fine fine material. Was a lot to do on my own especially moving the mattresses from room to room and I have a big bruise on my shoulder (think it was where I was wedgd a bit LOL).
And your question is?
Question Author
I was only pointing that I was able to buy a noiseless mattress topper. And I was only having a chat as I am exausted. Is that ok Piggy
As said to you many times, Piggynose...this is Chatterbank.
Waterproofs aren't as crinkly crackly as they once were thankfully.

And another little sad chat. My nephew's wife's brother has died in America last night with MND - 33 years old. I met the lad at her wedding so a little sad.
That's very sad and so young too.
That's sad indeed. Such a cruel illness.
