I once saved a sheep from an icy watering trough where she had got stuck in the ice by barbed wire. She looked back and apparently stood there and said 'Baaa Baaa' as in appreciation. My wife witnessed it and was in awe....especially as we were dressed up ready to go up to London and meet the prospective new bro-in-law and her sis (in from the States) for the first time.

I feel sorry for the rescuer. They have just rescuing the poor animal and then they have to start all over again.
