This village hall is only 60 foot by 24 foot. Your room is apparently 3 times as long and 5 times as wide, meaning that it's 15 times the size of the village hall!

if your figures really are correct (which, to be honest, I strongly doubt!), the area is around 2000 square metres. Laminate flooring might cost around £10 per square metre, with fitting also costing around £10 per square metre, making £20 per square metre in total.
So with your (absolutely massive!) room having an area of around 2000 square metres, that comes to around £40,000!
Perhaps you need to get your tape measure out again?

£280 would be my 'starting point' guideline figure but you always need to add in a bit for wastage (where bits have to be cut off the flooring, around the edges of the room, to get it to fit). So I reckon that £350 might be a better estimate but, as has been suggested by others, the price of laminating flooring can be much higher for a really top quality product and the rates charged by fitters can vary quite a bit too. My actual budget figure for such a project might therefore be closer to £400. Shop around for quotes!
My daughter needed her room chaging from caroet to decent laminate. About 13 sq m.
We went to a specialist local flooring shop and found what she wanted. Guy came round and priced it up. £1400! What?
I went online and found the exact same flooring and quality underlay for £270 and thats what it cost her.
Plus a day and a half of my uncharged time.
It easy to do. Just take off skirting boards lay and replace. Sorted. Saved her a mint!
