Has anyone ever died for a few minutes and been brought back?

Morbid question i guess but has anyone ever had anything happen to them where they have stopped breathing/died for a couple of minutes/seconds and then been brought back?Or do you know anyone this happened to?
And if so what was the experience like?

Thanks freak_unique. Such a lovely reply to my comment. Didn't want to bring anyone down, just thought you'd want a serious answer to a good question. Those who know me will tell you that you won't find a more positive person. Life is so precious, we have to do everything we can to make it as happy and good as it can be, no matter what it throws at us. I have a wonderful love (my partner) in my life and he makes all the difference! So, please don't be sad for me, I am fine. My my son in always in my heart and we laugh an awful lot together! That's the secret! :)

Didn't die actually but was dangerously ill & unconscious many years ago & my family were summoned to my bedside. During that time II underwent an "out of body" experience where I was floating above my bed, drifting down a misty tunnel towards a bright light which somehow wouldn't let me pass any further. I learned afterwards that I had apparently been close to death, but it wasn't at all a frightening experience, just very peaceful and tranquil drifting along as if on a cloud. At some point during this experience I fleetingly looked down on all my family who were all sitting around my bed and had this strange feeling of coincidence that they'd all arrived together from different parts of the country. So if this is what dying actually feels like, it is not a frightening experience. There may be some physiological reason for this sensation, but I have since learned that many other people close to death have had not dissimilar experiences.
