Englands team base is in Burton on Trent. Its probly quicker to fly from Denmark to Wembley than drive from Burton

You have had an advantage with home fixtures but the venues for the knockout rounds were decided beforehand with quarters at various grounds and semis and finals at Wembley. Germany, Italy & Spain for example all had there group games in there own country at Munich, Rome & Seville.
