chinadoll, any really good doctor will support you in seeking a second opinion, especially if you are facing something fairly serious. You should tell your doctor , in a calm and positive manner, that you would feel more confident about your treatment if you were able to have the diagnosis confirmed by an additional doctor. If he or she refuses ... change doctors! Best wishes!
