Good evening,
Would someone give me an idea as to how a Linked in Puzzle works? I have never done any before and would like to learn to solve it. Here is this week’s Linked in from the Telegraph. The answer and parsing to one of the 9 given words would be appreciated to get me started. Thanks in advance!
Linked In
In our Linked In puzzle, each clue is an anagram of a linked word or phrase, together with a spare letter. The spare letters can be rearranged to give a related surname.
1. UPSET ALIEN
2. WORLDLY ACHE
3. TAXIMETERS
4. FIFE DOGS
5. TRICK CONKER
6. HEROINE LOST
7. MADE SUIT
8. WANT LOGO
9. PURER AS NUN
To enter, please email the nine linked words/phrases and the surname, together with your name and postal address, to
[email protected], to arrive by 9am on Friday, July 16. One winner chosen at random from all correct entries received will win a Telegraph Crossword Companion Set.
