Don't go to Urban Dictionary. I've been there. What does 'merced' or 'mercked' mean? Rio Ferdinand kept saying it on his world cup show. I need to know.

I think you mean "merched" which means "daughter" in Welsh.
Does it mean his Mercedes car has been wrecked? Or maybe been run over by a Merc?
Mercy. A short form of 'holy mother of mercy' in spanish (merced)
I think you mean "murk".

Definition 24 in the Urban Dictionary means mocked.
Merched literally means girls,/daughters. Merch means daughter. I cant imagine Rio Fredinand knowing that......though stranger things have happened and all that!!!!!!!
Also (Dydd) Merched is Wednesday as in the day of the week......just for useless information and all that!!
Mercked refers to getting ripped off. It stems from the ecstasy world, when people were sold bunk tabs that were cut with other drugs, they would refer to this as being mercked. That's because the company that originally synthesized mdma was Merck pharmaceuticals. The word has escaped from the inner rings of mdma users and now it is used more broadly, whether you've been sold bunk pills, been robbed, or been sold a crappy used car. So now whenever you get ripped off you can just say, "I've been mercked!"
